| March 25, 2008 Hispanic 100 hosts Senator John McCain The Hispanic 100 hosted presumed Republican presidential nominee, Senator John McCain, for a roundtable with Hispanic business owners. The event was held at CH Letterpress in Santa Ana with approximately 150 members and guests. Ebay CEO Meg Whitman moderated the panel comprised of Hispanic 100 members. |
| February 26, 2008 Cal Sate Fullerton recognizes several Hispanic 100 members Cal State Fullerton s Querer es Poder: 50 Examples photo exhibit highlights several Hispanic 100 members. The goal of the exhibit is to motivate young people to attain a college education and recognizes 50 of Cal State Fullerton s successful Latino alumni. Featured in the exhibit are: - Chairman Manuel Ramirez, president of Ramirez International - Carlos Bustamante, Santa Ana Councilman - John Cruz, Esq., Appointments Secretary to Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger - Francisco Valle, president of Valle Consulting The traveling photo exhibit will be on display at Santa Ana City Hall from 3/3/08 to 3/21/08 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Irvine City Hall from 4/14/08 to 4/28/08 and Fullerton City Hall in May. |
| January 25, 2008 Hispanic 100 grows in 2008 The Board of Directors will be meeting shortly to strategically plan the year which will ensure success for the Hispanic 100 and all its members. 2008 will consists of several events for the organziation, including private briefings, fundraisers, social events, etc. |
